THE PLANETS
The definition of a planet is any celestial body orbiting a star that is massive enough to be rounded by its own gravity. Every planet has a moon except for Mercury and Venus. There are 8 planets in our solar system also known as the Milky Way Galaxy
The 8 planets in order from the sun is:
Mercury
Venus
Earth
Mars
Jupiter
Saturn
Uranus
Neptune
Terrestrials Planets
Planets that are similar to Earth, with bodies largely composed of rock: Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. Earth is the only know planet to have the existence of life.
Gas Giants (Jovians)
Gas giants are commonly described as lacking a solid surface, although a more accurate description is to say that they lack a clearly-defined surface
