iPhone 5s Rumors

Apple's next generation iPhone may feature a 12-megapixel camera with an improved night shooting feature and HDR reports Vietnamese site tinhte.vn According to the site, the rumor comes from a source at Saigon Electronics in Binh Duong, which specializes in providing camera modules for the iPhone. An improved camera has been a long rumored feature of the iPhone 5S, but there are few specifics available. It's been reported that the handset would have a Retina+ Sharp IGZO display, which would have a 1080p Full HD resolution. It's also been widely reported that Apple could introduce two handset sizes as it seeks to compete with the "plethora" of Android devices now on the market.

Rumors have been around for years that the iPhone will incorporate NFC at some stage, but hasn't happened yet . However, Apple decided to incorporate Passbook into the iPhone 5 and iOS 6 as a way to provide a similar, if different, feature. There have also been rumors that apple will finally incorporate wireless charging. This is another rumor that's been floating around the Apple rumor mill for the past few years. Some sites have gone ever so far to claim that Apple had filed patents pertaining to wireless charging, but this hasn't been confirmed by Apple themselves.

The iphone 5s is also rumored to bring the arrival of Apple's newest operating system, "ios7." It's expected to be announced at The World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC 2013) which begins June 10 and ends June 14, 2013. There are concept videos on Youtube showcasing what some expect from the new software, but knowing Apple, and how they keep stuff tightly under wraps, we won't know for sure until when it's released.

Next Generation Xbox

The next gen Xbox (720) looks certain to use AMD graphics hardware. VG247 reports that multiple sources have confirmed to it that the console will use two GPUs in tandem, it goes on to say that these won't be used in the usual 'Cross Fire' configuration seen in PCs. We're not sure about all this as complex hardware architectures have been the failing of many consoles in the past, as a simple architecture is easier for developers to get to grips with quickly.

Its speculated that the next-generation Xbox 360 will include a Blu-ray drive. However, it could be that the drive is just for games only and won't be able to play Blu-ray films. The console is due to be launched this year.

Google Fiber

Google Fiber is a broadband internet infrastructure using fiber-optic connections. Google has announced that Kansas city will be the first to receive the network, with Austin, Texas to follow in the coming months. After building an infrastructure of the network, in July 2012, Google announced pricing for Google Fiber. The service will offer three options. These include a free broadband internet option, a 1Gbps internet option for $70 per month and a version that includes television service for $120 per month. Google Fiber will provide an Internet connection speed of 1Gbps for both download and upload.

On April Fools' Day 2012, Google Fiber announced that their product was an edible Google Fiber bar instead of fiber-optic Internet broadband. It is stated that the Google Fiber bar delivers "what the body needs to sustain activity, energy, and productivity.

On April Fools' Day 2013, Google Fiber announced the introduction of Google Fiber to the Pole. The Description provided was "Google Fiber to the Pole provides ubiquitous gigabit connectivity to fiber hoods across Kansas City. This latest innovation in Google Fiber technology enables users to access Google Fiber's ultra fast gigabit speeds even when they are out and about." Clicking on the "Learn More" and "Find a pole near you" buttons displayed a message reading "April Fool’s! While Fiber Poles don’t exist, we are working on a bunch of cool stuff that does. Keep posted on all things Fiber by checking out our blog."

Facebook Home

Facebook Home is a user interface that is layered onto devices running android jelly bean. It was released on April first and is available for download in the "Google Play Store" across multiple platforms (phones and tablets). It hasn't been very successful. A few hours after release, it had received an average review of 2.3 out of 5 at the play store, a lot of people complain that is was "too much face book." It's still a little early to know for sure, but it's looking like this is going to turn up being a flop.
