This site, built from scratch with a custom Tetris background, glassmorphism UI, animated nav, card flips and scroll animations. First began by mapping out my template off of a photoshop image layout to gain a bit of inspiration
Created while working for a disability services corporation in New York. I identified that their parade event FAQ page had significant accessibility barriers dense content and poor typography made information difficult to access. To align the site with the company's inclusive mission, I redesigned the layout for improved readability and implemented page reader scripts across multiple pages, ensuring all users could navigate the site effectively.
Here I was experimenting with interactive card animations for a future portfolio enhancement. And I learned how to combine JavaScript and CSS animations to create dynamic 3D effects. Understanding event coordinates and geometry calculations to create the tilt effect was challenging but rewarding. I also discovered how layering multiple animation properties (transform, box-shadow, gradients) creates rich, engaging interactions while maintaining smooth performance.
I start with layouts and templates then refine them into something personal and unique with an emphasis on structure and usability.
