PALM PRE: Currenly Sprint's most popular touchscreen smartphone differs from the competition because it has it's own OS(Operating System). The Pre's a slide phone with a QWERTY keyboard. Some of the good features about the pre are, like the iPhone, the Pre allows you to go from one application to another without having to close anything. This enables you to have multiple locations loading up at the same time. The Pre also allows you to organize all your things with accurate reminders to your liking, while with a simple slide of the finger, you can go from application to application without having to close/minimize anything.

What Sprint doesn't tell people is that having multiple applications open can cause your battery life to drop at an increasing rate. This makes the good features of the phone pointless without constantly charging your phone. Even though the Pre supports 8gb of memory, users don't usually use all of the memory and the phone(or maybe just sprint) drops calls very often. I would only recommend the Pre to people who are very busy, work in an office, or want to be very organized without having to buy an organizer.
iPhone 3gs: AT&T/Apple's most popular touchscreen smartphone is unique in having Apple's OS.This phone is by far the most satisfying to entertaining young users. With virtually any application you can think of, the iPhone also has high compatibility with any Apple electronic. This makes the iPhone very flexible for anyone interested in Apple's products, music and social networking.
HTC HD2: The HD2 has a 4.3 inch screen which is the largest multi-touch screen Smartphone by T-mobile and has 16GB of loading space with a 1ghz processor. With the screen size, the phone is ideal for watching movies and downloadable content. This phone alsohas the Windows 6.5 Mobile OS. The HD2 comes with Transformer 2 which is great for movie watchers, however this not ideal for application users. The phone is great for entertainment overall, although the battery does not keep up with its reputation. The phone, like the palm pre, does not satisfy battery life as well as entertainment.
Blackberry Storm 2: Verizon's newest smartphone and first blackberry touchscreen phone. The blackberry is known as the world's business phone because it is available in any country that deals with cell phones and business. This phone has 16GB of memory, OS 5.0 and very useful for organizing work and tasks. Compared to older blackberries, the storm 2 is keeping up with competition by putting some of its focus on downloadable applications. The downfalls of the blackberry is battery life for having this applications running, like any phone that runs multiple applications, the battery will quickly fail. In contrast to the iPhone and Palm Pre, the blackberry storm 2 is not as reliable at having multiple applications open at the same time.
