Barcelona Sporting Club is an Ecuadorian soccer club in Guayaquil. They are tied with Club Deporivo El Nacional as the most successful team in the country in terms of national championships with 13 titles. El Nacional is a team who only uses national players, they do not use players from other parts of the world like many other teams. They have been a very good team since then no matter what happens, but there is nothing like Barcelona. People support them whether they losed or win. and that is the good thing about this fans, they are with the team in good and bad times. People have to support their team so they can become succesful because they need support from their supporters and followers.there are also fans that just because their team losed or got eliminated from the championship, at a blink of an eye you'll see that they are now from a different team.Barcelona was the first Ecuadorian team to make it to the Copa Libertadores finals, twice in 1990 and 1998. Their main rival team is Club Sport Emelec with whom they play one of the most popular matches in Ecuador, which is called "El Clásico del Astillero". Barcelona is one of the most popular team in Ecuador, and there is a alot of people who support them. People go to their games no matter if their game is at home or away. |
