Motherboard:

MotherBoard

The motherboard is where all the other parts of the PC (computer) connect to. This should be the first part you should think when you start building your PC. This part is just like the car engine. You cannot start a car without one. Also, it is very important that you know what the compatibility with other parts. The reason for this is that when build a PC together some of the parts don’t work well with each other. For example, you can’t just put a truck part in to a minivan and expect it to work properly. This part was made to work hand and hand with same manufacture so keep that in mind.

C.P.U:

The C.P.U, Central Processing Unit, is the mind of the PC. It tells every other part of the PC what to do. Not only that, it’s the one of the small piece of hardware out of the whole PC. There is just one thing you need to keep in mind when buy a C.P. U. When you have a C.P.U., in your had, remember that is must be compatible with its motherboard. Also, you must NOT touch the pin on the C.P.U.! The pins are very thin line of wire that can easily be miss by the size of the pins. The reason why I say don’t touch the pins is because if one of though pins were to come off then the whole C.P.U is useless. Not to mention, the C.P.U is one of the most expensive pieces in a PC so do beautiful.

RAM:

RAM

The RAM, Random Access Memory, is the nervous system of the PC. What this mean is that all information that passes from one part to the next go through this part. Without it, the PC will not be able to start. There are something you need to keep in mind when picking out sticks of RAM. Make sure that when you pick out a stick RAM it’s the same as every other RAM that is going in the PC. Also, make sure that you have a least 4-8 gigs of RAM in your PC. The reason why to get that amount is because nowadays PC mostly use up that amount of RAM so best to keep it high. Also, make sure that your RAM comes in pairs of two because the PC can’t run with only one stick of RAM. Sure there may be some cases where you can get one stick of RAM to do double the work; however, I don’t recommend that you buy though types of RAM because if it goes bad it is harder to replace the piece.

Power Supply:

The Power Supply is the heart of the PC. This piece is what give the whole PC life, or in other words, power. This is just like the battery in a car. Without it, the car will even able to start up. However, this piece maybe one of less imported part of the PC because all it does is to give power. Even so, there is one big thing about the power supply that you must keep in mind and that is voltages. The voltage on a power supply is a big number on the side of the power supply, or on the box, that determine the amount of power that the power supply can give, the higer the number the more it power it gives. There no problem in buying a high voltage power supply for your PC, it just will be a waste of money to let all thoughts voltages go to waste. However, if your power supply does not meet the demand of the PC then you run into unstable problems with your PC such as not be able to start it up, not be able to keep it running for a long time, or worst have your power supply surge from the lack of power.

G.P.U:

GPU

The G.P.U, Graphics Processing Unit, is where all the video will be process. Do you ever wander what was piece that you plug from your desktop? It is this piece that you plug it in. This is also one of the least important parts of the PC depending on what you want your PC to do. If you want to build a gaming PC, like me, then the G.P.U. will be very important to you as games will pull a lot out of your graphics card. I must add that if you want to make a game PC then you going to have both G.P.U and C.P.U compatible. The reason is that if they were not compatible with each other then you can run in to many crashes with the computer. Although there is nothing stopping you, there will be more problems with the PC if you don’t keep this in mind.
