UFO!! The Truth Is Here!!!
The
21st century introduced to the entire world new technologies that just
a few years ago did not exist. Lasers, GPS systems, and touch-screen
telephones are amongst the few inventions introduced to the public;
guiding the people into a new age of advanced digital technology and
mass media control. With these new digital recording inventions everyone
can individually record, share, and take pictures of anything, including
Unidentified Flying Objects, at ease and without the help of professional
photographers or complex machinery. The UFO community consisting of
researchers and investigators, who study and attempt to prove these
Unidentified Flying Objects and Extraterrestrial visitors, has benefited
from this wave of advanced technology. Concrete evidence of Unidentified
Flying Objects can be captured, not only by million dollar satellites,
but by these video cameras and telephones purchased by the average consumer
all around the globe allowing them to collect evidence from a wide spectrum.
UFOs and Extraterrestrials (ET) have been a topic of controversial discussions
ever since the first sightings in the 1940's. This phenomenon, throughout
the years, has been neglected recognition and has been brushed off by
the government and thus by the people. However, the evidence needed
to prove their existence can be captured and shared more easily than
before because of 21st century technology.
Throughout the existence of the press and television, countless
accounts of Unidentified Flying Objects have been witnessed and recorded.
The technologies of the 21st century have, without a doubt, its own
benefits. Improved digital video cameras and telephones have aided in
the collection of outstanding evidence that cannot be so easily dismissed.
These recordings are passed down to researchers who have taken the time
to scientifically prove these being's existence and give voice to the
many silent witnesses; everyday people. During the early stages of UFO
discoveries, it was difficult to collect effective data and convince
people of this phenomenon. For a example, Bruce Burgess, host of documentary
“Dreamland” (1996), interviews UFO researchers in hopes
to uncover the truth about Area 51. This documentary is a prime example
of how the absence of physical or concrete evidence can make it hard
to explain such a delicate subject.
Groom Lake Bed, also known as “Area 51” and “Nellis”
lies within the Nevada desert. This Air Force Base, the size of Switzerland,
was designed to house stealth projects for the United States military.
This base lies 80 miles outside of Las Vegas. It was funded in the 1940's
by former President Truman for America's testing and developing of highly
classified air crafts. Satellite photos of an underground facility under
the few visible buildings on top exist and the US Air Force still claims
that Area 51 is nothing but rumors. The intense secrecy surrounding
the base, the very existence of which the U.S. government barely acknowledges,
has led it to become the frequent subject of conspiracy theories and
a central component to the UFO phenomenon.
Employees of the base are delivered to and from the base via a plane.
This method of transporting their employees and the hostile secrecy
causes beliefs that maybe the few small buildings on top are cover for
this "non-existent", underground facility and that it does
in fact exist. Ultimately, without evidence, the rumors of Area 51 can
only stay as rumors. Glenn Campbell, founder of Area 51 research centre
states that "because the military is continuing to treat it as
a top secret facility that doesn’t exist it attracts attention.
Naturally, everyone wants to know what goes on here." He argues
that if the government hides and demands everything to be kept secret,
we would want to know out of curiosity what is really going on and question
all the hiding. Since the aggression to keep this in a bubble of secrecy
is so severe, the public have begun to believe that they are really
hiding something big. Again, without physical evidence this could only
be kept as a simple speculation.
Robert
"Rob" Lazar, an Area 51 scientist, claimed to have worked
with twenty-one other individuals in what was known as “S4”.
Lazar claimed to have seen an alien aircraft and to have actually studied
one inside and out. Lazar was charged and taken to court no soon after
he made his claims public. Robert “blew the lid off of Area 51"
and made headlines on Tuesday, June 5, 1990, in the Las Vegas review
journal:
Rob
Lazar, known in the UFO community for his claims that the U.S. government
is testing alien spacecraft at the Nevada test site agreed to pleadguilty
Monday to a pondering charge. A former employee at the Los Alamos
Laboratory in New Mexico, he spent much of the series explaining alien
crafts he claimed to have seen at the test site. The felony charge
carries a sentence of one to six years and a fine of $15,000.
Without evidence, he could not prove his claims
and show to the world that his stories were true. There were no photos,
no videos just his words. In a world such as ours and in our court systems,
words are worth nothing if people cannot support it with concrete evidence.
Lazar later announced to be bankrupt. In court, he described his work
as a self-employed photo processor, when at first he claimed to have
back engineered the power and propulsion system used by this alien craft.
He worked on the power and reactor that ran the craft. Other researchers
attempted to prove his validation and actually having worked for Los
Alamos Lab, but he had no records and no one acknowledged him as a former
worker. Could Lazar have lied to attract attention? Was he threatened
to die by the government and so changed his story in court to protect
his life or family? As Nuclear Physicist, Stanton T. Friedman said,
"They know that we're dealing with the biggest story of the millennium”
and they will keep it a secret at any cost if it proposes a threat.
On August of 1996, an official Pentagon statement was
released in hopes to finally put the mysteries surrounding Area 51 at
rest:
There
are a variety of activities, some of which are classified, throughout
what is often called the Air Force, Nellis Range Complex. The range
is used for the testing of technologies and systems and training for
operations critical to the effectiveness of the U.S Military forces
and the security of the United States. There is an operating location
near Groom Lake. Some specific activities and operations conducted
on the Nellis range both pass and present remain classified.
With this statement, the officials of the Pentagon officers publicly
stated that there is no such thing as Area 51, just a military development
base. The only reason it is so secretive
is because they conduct
operations to maximize the United States’ security and create
tactics and weapons different to other nations. If they enforced no
form of security, other nations would know of the Unite States’
security strategies. The Pentagon emphasized that operations both past
and present must and will remain classified. However, "If it is
already explained, and there's nothing exciting, why can't people talk
about it." (Stanton T. Friedman). Again, the contradictions and
mysteries remain.
In 1975, Travis Walton and witness, Mike Rogers had also
made headlines. They were not claiming to having studied a UFO, but
having been abducted by one. Walton was abducted and was watched by
several of his friends. Their story had been dismissed despite the fact
that every witness and the abductee himself had taken and passed lie
detector examinations. They were all sane, in good health, under no
drug influences, and capable young men. They were labeled as “attention
seekers” and immediately shunned aside because of the absence
of concrete evidence. It became a game of attempting to prove someone
with the murder weapon innocent. "Secrets can be kept. They are
being kept. The people will think, ‘Hey, if this was going on,
I will know about it; the ego is a powerful weapon"(Stanton T Friedman).
On the other hand, 2007's “Fastwalkers”, a documentary
made a decade later from “dreamland”, illustrates a database
of recent images and video recordings made by military officials, amongst
many other credible individuals, using the technology of the 21st century.
A report made by the United Nations shows that since 1947, more than
150-million people have personally seen UFO’s or experienced some
kind of UFO sighting throughout the world. Twenty-thousand of those
have been documented landings. A Roper Poll conducted in the United
States shows that 70% of the citizens believe that the government has
been keeping the truth about extraterrestrial entities. For over six
decades, the government had simply appeared to the public as in denial
when dealing with UFO’s and ET’s.
Sightings have ranged from July 4, 1947's Roswell, New
Mexico incident to the more recent Mexico Flap where hundreds of objects
in the sky appeared throughout Mexico. Government officials who come
forward to speak have adopted the term for themselves as "Whistleblowers.”
John Greenwald, of "The Black Vault" Web Site, claims that
the Manual 10-206 was made in case a pilot of the Air Force who sees
an unidentified flying objectreport it in a fashion that , in details,
explains size, shape, direction of travel, how big the object, and wind
conditions. NORAD and UNNORTHCOM Claims no collection since 1969, but
the Manual was last updated on October 2004.
Years ago, Commander Graham E. Bethune, Navy Pilot and
qualified on over one-hundred models of air crafts, also encountered
a UFO while onboard with other pilots and a doctor. Though there was
no evidence present, his claims can be to some degree considered because
of his background. A man of such prestigious background can't be just
another “attention seeker.” James Courant, a captain of
a major airline, did not testify after his co-pilots had been fired
for reporting their sightings publicly and years later, in this documentary,
he finally did. The more people learn about UFO’s and ET’s
the more we are able to see that people of every age, occupation, and
nationality has had an encounter. Large quantities of people around
the world every year are reporting their sightings for it to be something
that isn't happening. “There’s nothing like seeing one for
yourself to end the dispute."(Robert O. Dean, Ret. Commander and
Sergeant Major).
Jaime Maussan, Anchorman of "60 Minutes"
in Mexico, says himself that “the video camera has become the
most important instrument to really capture this new reality.”
Again, he argues that the technology, advanced as it is, has finally
made it possible for the collection of concrete ET’s and UFO’s
evidence. With these cameras, people can really bring to life what many
have been skeptical about. The answers can finally be made about this
new reality.
Maussan has displayed in many of his conferences
videos delivered to him of hundreds of lights illuminating the sky.
They range in number anywhere between two to two-hundred. They have
appeared during the day and even in the darkness of the night. Photos
of these sphere shaped lights have also been taken. Military individuals
of the Mexican Air Force released to Maussan one of the rarest forms
of evidence existing today. In attempt to keep watch of narcotic traffickers,
they encountered something else, something unexpected. An infrared (IR)
camera used by the military for heat and movement detection captured
eleven air crafts flying over the Mexican skies. These aircrafts were
flying at the same speed and altitude as the Mexican Air Force personnel
yet could not be seen with the naked eye. However, they did appear on
the camera and on radar and were recorded. This video was publicly released
to the world, becoming a very prized and valuable piece of evidence.
The cameras of the 21st century have been upgraded so that most,
if not all, contain infrared capabilities or even night vision. Videos
using infrared have become a very useful device and many sky watchers
have collected evidence of lights that can be seen with this device
and not with the naked eye. Meaning that UFO Air crafts can become visible.
Videos of objects moving and performing very outstanding turns and swirls
outer and inner space make it hard to believe that these air crafts
belong to us or are, as some have tried to claim, burning air gasses
floating in outer space. No air craft on our planet or ball of gas can
move and create such spontaneous, aerodynamic turns without some kind
of decrease in speed and even then it is highly difficult. "I feel
knowledge is power. The more we know about this subject the less legend
can take over" (Jerry Pippin, Talk show host/ Investigator).

"As far as sharing information on the internet, that is the bet
way to do it, the safest…This is the way it’s going to be
done here on out because the military defiantly doesn’t want to
talk about it anymore. Everything at night to them is a plane, a flare…”
(Rich Giordano, Sky Watcher and owner of CNUFOS.com). The World Wide
Web has helped spread the word to everyone willing to just stop and
listen for a moment. It has made maintaining the cover up a difficult
and demanding undertake for the government. Researchers like Maussan
and Stanton, amongst many others, have made websites where their videos
and documentaries can be watched whenever and how many times anyone
desires--free of charge. Doing this helps spread the information to
a wide range of people and can be reached easily. Unlike in the 50’s
or even 70’s, many homes did not own a computer because they were
used mainly by police forces and the government. The television was
very depended on. Now videos hosted on websites such as, YouTube, where
millions upload videos including those of UFO sightings, have made it
easier for people to learn for themselves. Websites such as, Brian Vike,
HBCCUFO, receive authentic UFO videos from people all around the globe
and post them on the site receiving 3-10 million hits a month. Many
homes own computers now and many telephones have Internet services where
videos can be watched portably. With this, researchers have tried to
make their points clear, with conferences, videos, and photos.
A press conference was held in conjunction with an international
event "The X-Conference" where a panel of scientists and researchers
spoke out to the public openly about the UFOs and ETs. During the conference
Dr. Bruce Maccabee PH.D says, "My opinion right now is the person
who is going to wait for hard evidence is going to be left behind."
According to Dr. Maccabee, those who are not accepting this new reality
because there is no "hard evidence", which they are wrong
of, will fall with all those who naively choose not to learn and will
suffer the consequence and be left behind, disoriented and confused.
People have seen the evidence from individuals who were fortunate to
have the opportunity to give their stories and show their proof. However,
there are still witnesses who have not been interviewed or put in the
papers, citizens like myself, ordinary, not famous. They range in the
millions.
Before the Internet, before the cameras, before the telephones, were
books. Many of these books did not illustrate images, just words and
names of individuals who wanted to share their story. Of course, there
is no possible way to place a video in a book. Books can only help inform
the reader, but not show the true reality of this phenomenon. This delicate
subject is something that needs live videos and colored images to really
get the point across.”What’s So Super about the Supernatural?”
by Robert Gardner, published in 1998, serve as another prime example
of how books such as these, without live recordings or striking images
can be easily replaced with a critic’s explanation and thus dismissed
by the public.
“What’s So Super about the Supernatural?”
discusses infamous incidents of the first UFO sightings in 1947, abductions,
and even the mysterious crop circles. The Roswell Incident of 1947 drew
people into the UFO community and attracted a lot of attention during
time. UFO enthusiasts say that two extraterrestrial space ships collided
in a thunderstorm. Officials from the Roswell Army Air Field were informed
of the event by a local rancher who discovered the scattered remains
of the supposed extraterrestrial space craft. The air force later announced
that a weather balloon had crashed and not some kind of alien space
craft. The rancher described the debris tohave been pieces of a gray,
smoky, rubbery material; sticks; tinfoil; eyelets; aluminum rings; strange-looking
pieces of metal with hieroglyphic-like markings; and a black box. Witnesses
later claimed that the debris and four aliens killed in the crash had
been transferred to an air force base in Ohio, where a secret study
was conducted. The incident was rumored to have been covered by the
Armed Forces, CIA, and the National Security Council.
In 1984, Jaime Shandera, a film producer interested
in UFOs, found a canister of film in his mailbox. It was discovered
to be papers issued on September 24, 1947, by then-President Harry S
Truman. These documents were known as “MJ-12” and indicated
that Truman established a committee of twelve scientists and government
officials (the Majestic Twelve) to look into crashed flying saucers
and alien bodies that had been discovered. However, after the documents
were examined by experts, it was said that these documents were a hoax.
Truman’s signature on the documents was compared to another document
where he had signed and they appeared identical, but when magnified
to a 3.6 percent increase in size, it showed to have been copied three
times. In addition, the documents were written on a typewriter that
was not available before 1963. Many hoaxes exist and have been mixed
with valid evidence. For that reason, evidence is passed down to a panel
of experts and not just one to prove its authentication. With the advancing
technology, evidence is becoming more and more difficult to dismiss.
In1993, the air force announced that what crashed
in Roswell, New Mexico was not a weather balloon but a top-secret radar
balloon, part of a program called “Project Mongul.” “Project
Mongul’s” goal was to monitor nuclear explosions in the
Soviet Union by placing microphones at very high altitudes. These microphones
were carried by as many as twenty-four helium balloons. Trial fights
were made in June and July of 1947, by the Alamogordo Army Air Fields
in New Mexico. Charles B. Moore, a scientist who worked on “Project
Mongul”, said that the description of the materials used in the
balloons matched well with the description of the debris found by the
rancher. Furthermore, a study of weather reports of that area for early
June indicate that a flight called NYU Flight 4, consisting of weather
balloons, would have been carried by the winds to the site where the
wreckage was later discovered. Radar trackers lost contact with the
flight a few miles from the crash site.
In 1995, after an eighteen-month search requested
by Congressman Steve Schiff of New Mexico was made, no evidence to prove
the air force’s account of the Roswell incident as wrong was found.
This serves to prove that Gardner “What’s So Super about
the Supernatural” information on the Roswell incident, was just
another story ‘’proven’’ by the air force to
be something that has absolutely nothing to do with ET’s, or UFO’s.
Although they themselves possessed no photos of this Radar balloon being
made before it was launched, people still believed them over UFO enthusiasts
because they are more trusted. “The more you’re open minded,
the more you realize that one answer can lead to just a thousand more
questions” (Sean David Morton).
On November 05, 2008, Kelly Mueller made headlines and
was posted by “Local Reports Muskegon Chronicles.” Mueller
was accepted to tell her story on the History Channel’s program
”UFO Hunters’’. The show profiles a famous West Michigan
incident reported in March 1994, where a series of lights were seen
speeding along the shoreline. The event was even caught on the National
Weather Service radar and even recorded on a call to a 911 operator.
The show aired famous UFO encounters in West Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois.
In the Michigan event, the witnesses were regular people and not UFO
enthusiasts. They all reported seeing the same thing---a glowing circular
object. There was also the 911 conversation that was recorded. The conversation
took place between a National Weather Service radar operator at the
Muskegon County Airport and an Ottawa County dispatcher. At one point
during the conversation, the weather service operator is heard saying,
‘’I’ve never seen anything like this…”
Recordings such as these are what we need to prove that was is being
seen, are being seen by people all around the globe, civilians, police
officers, doctors, and government officials alike.
  “Dreamland” of 1996 and “Fastwalkers”
of 2007 are similar in the sense that both attempt to announce the truth
about the UFO and ET phenomenon and the government’s involvement
using testimonies, videos, and even top-secret manuals. However, it
is clear that the evidence presented in “Fastwalkers”, which
was made a decade later, is a lot more credible because the cameras
used to collect the evidence in this documentary visibly shows higher
quality. Fastwalkers is more persuasive because some of the evidence
presented would not have been released if prople were in the time “Dreamland”
was made, for an example, the video the Mexican air force released to
Jaime Maussan. “Fastwalkers” presented evidence from all
around the world and as recent as 2008. Different technologies were
used such as, infrared in “Fastwalkers”, showing the discovery
of an invisible UFO using a regular camera and an infrared camera simultaneously.
All in all, the evidence was of higher quality. The advancement of the
camera from 1997 to 2007 is clear in these documentaries.
“What’s So Super about the supernatural”,
by Robert Gardner speaks of famous events like Roswell, New Mexico’s
incident, but also disclaims the rumors of ET’s having been recovered
by presenting the statement given by the Air force’s specialist
Charles B. Moore. This book serves to only tell of the famous UFO stories
and not really prove what they really are or if in fact these extraterrestrials
exist. This prove to show that UFO communities benefit not in making
books that have no pictures and cannot demonstrate, overwhelming, live
action videos, but in making more and more documentaries. However, published
news reports like Kelly Mueller’s story of the Michigan event,
drew people in and help strengthen their curiosity enough to make them
learn for themselves. The news has become over the years a lot less
censored and can air these events without hindering the effects these
uncut recordings can have on an individual.
The 21st century’s inventions of advanced
video cameras, telephones, the World Wide Web, amongst many other things
have made the collection of UFO and ET proof easier. Anyone can become
a sky watcher and learn for themselves. Mr. Ronald once said, “We’re
dealing with a big, big story. It’s not just them. Like I said
if it was that simple it probably would’ve been out sometime back.
It’s really about us. It’s who we are, what we are, how
we came to be and where we might end up going sometime.” We hide
so much in denial even when the truth is in front of us as clear as
ice. Everything that is different to us, that we do not understand people
reject or attack. It is in our nature. However, why is so hard to believe
that other intelligent life forms exist outside of our planet? If our
scientists together with the Apollo mission were able to go out of our
planet and visit the Moon, it could be possible that other intelligent
species come to this planet too. However, to see and believe does not
signify changing who people are. It is about learning what is new for
people and they cannot understand, so that everybody is prepared for
whatever may come. It is better to be prepared and not need it, than
to need the knowledge and not have it.
