Lolita is a subculture originated in Japan that is based on Victorian-era clothing. It also costumes from the Rococo period but the style is very huge in Japan. This style can be worn by females. But men who like Lolita fashion turn to unisex fashion that relates to Lolita. Lolita is very elegant and cute. What is the term Lolita? Lolita does not relate to sexiness. In the late 1980 Milk, Pink house and Pretty is now call Angelic Pretty. This company sell clothing that be considered “Lolita”. Then another company that came is Baby, The Star Shine Bright and Metamorphose. Today Lolita fashion is huge in global popularity. The lifestyle of Lolita adapt to certain mannerism like ladylike behavior. The hobbies for feminine Lolita are baking, sewing or embroidery. Outside of Japan Lolita fashion had became as cosplay in North America. This you can see at concerts and anime conventions in the North America. The different types of styles I will introduce you is Gothic Lolita, Sweet Lolita, Classic Lolita and Punk Lolita. These four styles are very popular in Japan and North America. Lolita fashion is a popular culture in anime, manga, video game and movies. You can find this outfit in department stores in Japan or websites.
