David Ortiz was born on November 18, 1975 in Santo Domingo Dominican Republic. He debut in MLB on September 2, 1997 with Minnesota Twins. In 2006, Minnesota decided not to sign him again. At that moment, Minnesota did not know the type of player he were going to be; finally, Boston Red Sox sign him. His position was first base even though he play as designated hitter most of the time and as designated hitter he was one of the best to ever do it. With Boston, he went to 10th all-star games. He were able to win seven silver bats, three world series and, also one MVP during the 2013 World Series against St. Louis Cardinals.
