
Sancocho
|
- A big pot with a top
- 3 quarts plus 1 1/2 cups water
- Add salt, and boiled cassava, carrots, potato, pumpkin, plantain.
- cook the chicken, beef, pork then add it.
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1 large onion (chopped), pepper, 2 tablespoons chopped garlic, adobo, celery,1/2 cilantro

Rice Bean and Chicken |
Rice
- A medium pot with top
- 4 cups water, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 2 tablespoon oil
- 3 cups of rice (watched and drained).
Beans
- boiled the uncooked beans
- 1 tablespoon of salt or to taste
- 1/4 pumpkin
- 1 tablespoon oil
- add 3 garlic head and the sofrito (onions, tomato sauce).

Chicken

Chicken Stew

- In a bowl mix the chicken, oregano, onion, squeeze in the juice of the lemon, celery, tomatoes, olives and vegetables a pinch of salt and garlic. Marinate for 30 minutes.
- In a pot heat up the oil, Put in the bouillon and seasoning then cook until the sugar gets to a lightly brown color.
- Add the chicken by itself and cook until meat is light brown, make sure to flip as needed.
- Add enough water until it covers the chicken, then heat until water gets to a boil.
- Add the remaining ingredients, cover and simmer until all the ingredients are tender, adjust water if necessary until a sauce is formed.
- Serve with white rice along with the sauce of the chicken, and red beans.
