Since 1923 the NY Yankees and Yankee Stadium stood for Pride, Power and Pinstripes. Through the years records have been set and broken, in the house that “Ruth Built”. Their 26 Pennants make Yankee Fans proud to be Bronxites. New York Yankees are known for their power on and off the field. It is especially true for two of the Yankee Players, who play their hearts out on the field, and also helped contributed to some of the 26 Pennants that the New York Yankees hold. My two favorite players did not forget where they came from. They have both started very special projects that help the less fortunate. They help Children with Craniosynostosis and help keep children from using drugs and alcohol. Derek Jeter created the Turn 2 Foundation for the prevention of drugs and alcohol abuse in children. While Jorge Posada created the Posada Foundation for children who suffer with Craniosynistosis. Their Pride, their Power and their Pinstriped Uniforms go above and beyond their plays on the field.

"People from out of town say
there are three things they want to see - the Statue of Liberty, Radio
City, and Yankee Stadium. I guess you could say the stadium is
hallowed ground."
-Bill Waite, an employee at
the stadium for over fifty years
