Derek Jeter is not only the captain of the team, he helps the older players as well as the newest.  He is known as Captain Clutch.  He very rarely strikes out and when he hits the ball, it is always when the bases are either loaded or they need to hit to win the game!.  He is the one of my favorite players.  He only helps on and off the field.
