Parks

Yosemite National Park

This park closest airport is San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and there are some beautiful views of farms which grow fruits such as apples, oranges and more along the road to the park. It is recommended to prepare some food and water for the road trip but you can get food in the park itself as there are people living in hotels that are in the park. There are some winding roads but the drive is not that difficult if you are going at the speed limit. Get ready to be amazed by the gorgeous waterfalls!

Sequoia National Park

This park closet airport is Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and it is recommended to bring more food and water because there is less option in the park for food. The road is more winding than Yosemite National Park but it will be fine if you are going at the speed limit. Having an offline map downloaded on your mobile device is a must because you could get lost in the woods of tall tree. Don't get lost in the woods!

Death Valley National Park

Avoid going during the summer because it is super hot and the trip will not be fun. Bring a lot of water because water is scarce in this park and it will be very hard to get help if you stuck in the park. Prepare an offline map is a must because there is no service in the park. If you didn't prepare the offline map, go to the visitor center first thing to get a paper map. Enjoy the view of colorful sand mountains, salt bed, and sand dunes!
