How to notice a bootleg??

Many buy their merch online or in person, believing it is original when sometimes it isnt. Unfortunately, this happens often. Here was tips to prevent that from happening to you.

Research the merchanise you want.

Doing your research before buying, helps alot.

For example: If you looking for a nendoriod of Meiko from Vocaloid, and found it online(Facebook, Amazon, Wish and etc...). You can look it up on myfigurecollection.net to confirm its the original product. As well, it tells you which website has it available or not and it price range.

Companies will alert customers about any fake products being sold based on the original design. To help the customer notice the different product, they add barcode and design on the product and the packaging so they can spot the differences.



The image already tell you which is the original, but can you tell why the fake one isn't the original?

If you think, it's the coloring? You are right! the fake one has more darker color and blurry font than the original. The people who are creating the fake are trying to almost the same design as original so they can pass it off and sell it for higher price than the offical manufacturers.
