What is a guitar?

The guitar is fascinating yet entertaining instrument to learn. Is a six string instrument, with a wooded body capable of emitting sound by the vibrations of its string when hit or strummed. Its melodic sound in the hands of an expert are quite enjoyable.

They are different types of guitar,the ones discussed in this website are the Acoustic guitar or Classic guitar, and the Electric guitar.

The Acoustic Guitar.

The acoustic guitar is the most used among people who are beginners and interested in first learning the instrument. Mostly, is the instrument of choice for the most skilled players by its capacity of being very portable and lacking use of an amp.

The acoustic guitar is mostly used in country songs and blues. likewise, they are more categories of acoustic guitars such as the classical guitar, the flamenco guitar, the 12 string acoustic guitar and many more.

Many people chose the classical guitar as a number 1 beginners guitar, because of is easy to learn and very enjoyable.

The Electric Guitar

According to wikipedia "Electric guitars can have solid, semi-hollow, or hollow bodies, and produce little sound without amplification. Electromagnetic pickups convert the vibration of the steel strings into signals, which are fed to an amplifier through a cable or radio transmitter. The sound is frequently modified by other electronic devices or the natural distortion of valves (vacuum tubes) in the amplifier. There are two main types of magnetic pickups, single- and double-coil (or humbucker), each of which can be passive or active".

The electric guitar likewise the acoustic guitar has sub categories such as the bass. The Electric guitar is used in fast songs such as rock, heavy metal, punk or metallica. This guitar is the most used among younger people, because of the fresh song that are being implemented with it.
