Minor and Major

There are two different types of chords. They are called MINOR CHORDS or MAJOR CHORDS. The way I was taught to differentiate the two is that, MINOR CHORDS are sad or mad chords. You would usually hear these chords in a song that is in a horror movie or sad movie. MAJOR CHORDS is just the opposite. They sound happy. If you played a song that just used MAJOR CHORDS, the song would sound happy. There are two pictures that show you how to play the different MAJOR AND MINOR CHORDS. On your right hand use your thumb for the first note, your pointer finger for the second note and your pinky finger for the third note.
