The goal of this site is to help guitarist and musicians learn the fundamentals of how to build and design their own analog effects pedals for fun or profit. The advantages of learning how to build and design your own pedals are; you can modify existing effect pedals that you are not happy with, save money and customize your own sound for your musical needs. As a do-it-your-selfer and musician, I have learned how to build and design my own pedals out of necessity, and for the satisfaction of creating something different that you can’t buy or get elsewhere.
