Our Mission Statement
Here at Dog Companion, we make it our life mission to provide love and affection for all our 4-legged companions. Over the recent years, studies have shown that millions of dogs are abandoned at shelters and since the COVID pandemic in 2018 the numbers have tripled. Over 3 million dogs are given up annually and only half are adopted while the rest face the cruelty of being euthanized. We believe every dog deserves to be placed in a home with an induvial or family and receive the affection and love they so much deserve, to build an ever-lasting relationship of love and trust.
Our Vision
We want to reduce the number of dogs that are abandoned at shelter yearly and support laws and bills that will no longer allow shelters to euthanize dogs unless certain circumstances regarding their health. Our furry companions have the potential to change our lives in the most positive ways and it’s only right that we do our part and take care of our little companions.
Our Contributions
In over the last 10 years, Dog Companion has made charitable donations to all animal shelters and non-profit organizations dedicated to saving animals. We also do weekly volunteer work at local animal shelters and help put together events where people can come and look at all the companions that are available for adoption. Due to animal shelters having limited space with high number of intakes, we at Dog Companion foster animals who have been in a shelter for more than a year and animals who are disabled and require special care. Every animal deserves a chance of being a part of a family and receive the love and care they desperately need.
