Swine Flu |
Virus |
Traced back to
pigs in the Mexician region, this uprising pandemic has found in 13
countries. Children are more at risk in catching the flu because they
are the ones who are most likely to spread it. There isn't any cure for this
pandemic but there are
ways to defend yourself from being at risk from direct contact or
inhaling a droplet that is contaminated with this virus. We can
wear inhalation mask, use latex gloves, and wash our hands with soap and
hot water to lower the risk of coming into contact with the Swine flu. There are medications to help soothe the symptoms such as
fever, headaches and diarrhea but the virus itself can not be removed by
medication. Symptoms occur one day prior to the pathogen entering the
system, and if symptoms do occur you should enter an emergency room as
soon at possible. This pandemic alert has been raised from phase 4 to
phase 5. |

HIV |
Virus |
Abbreviated
for Human Immuno Deficiency virus. Contracted through unprotected sexual
contact, through genetics, through breast milk, and blood transfusion.
The origins of HIV is unclear. Some people believe that the disease was
contracted through the consumption of livers form monkeys who were infected
with a similar virus. Since apes and humans are similar, the are virus
survives easily through human body conditions. When the virus is
detected in our system we can do absolutely nothing. The human's immune
system isn't able to kill off the intruder. The white blood cells in the
body sense that the virus is there and releases' antibodies and this is
how we are tested for the virus at a screening. The doctors search for
the antibodies released into our blood streem. This virus is untouchable, killing off the white
blood cells slowly leaving room for other intruders to penetrate our
health. When the body's immune
system consist of 200 white blood cells or less, you are know to be
introduced to AIDS. AIDS stands for Acquired Immuno Deficiency virus.
AIDS is a condition and not a virus. When you have 200 or less white blood cells
in your system, your body can no longer
fight off any infectious pathogens. The simplest Rhino virus can become
fatal. You don't die from HIV you actually die from other infections
that become horrific since your immune system is now low. There isnt any
cure from HIV, but there are treatments to help the immune system become
stronger. Some medications can be Truvada or Atripla.

Syphilis |
Bacteria |
Syphilis is
Bacteria contracted through sexual contact or any
kind of direct contact with the microorganisms. There are three stages of Syphilis.

stage is the when you develop genital sores that are visible but can go
unnoticed and disappear for the second stage. The second Stage is when
sores disappear without any treatment and you start to develope rashes on the
hand and feet. The third stage is the
internal spread of the infection, where there are many sores throughout
genitals and face and can be fatal if not treated because the bacteria
can travel to the brain. Having syphilis can cause birth defects in
babies who are born from a parent who is infected. Strong antibiotics
will get rid of this annoying infection, but
BEwAre not to catch the syphilis pathogen too many times, it can
become immune to medication.

direct contact. There are many cases of this sexually transmitted
disease that go unnoticed. It is important to check for an STD whenever
you have any sexual contact with anyone. Females should see a GYNist as
frequent as possible for virgin issues. Symptoms of Gonorrhea
consist of burning during urination, cold like symptoms, abdominal
cramps, and it also causes sterility if not treated. Since all Bacteria
can be killed with antibiotics, Gonorrhea can be cured. Just bring a
prescription to the nearest pharmacy and I'm sure they will be glad to
help.

 |
Chlamydia |
Protozoa |
The most prevalent/common bacterial STD in the US. Contracted through sexual
contact, and direct contact of any sort. This is considered a sexually
transmitted disease. There may be no symptoms to this STD or you may
have the same kind of symptoms as Gonorrhea. Since Protozoa can be
killed, antibiotics can take care of this. Go to your doctor for a
prescription.

two type of infectious descriptions of the two herpes simplex versus. Simplex 1
and Simplex 2.
Simplex 1 - Described as cold sores, and visibly at the mouth. This
virus isn't always noticeable, and doesn't always flair. Reactions are
different per person. The virus is contracted through direct contact
during an outbrake.
It is said that 50-80% of the human population have antibodies for
this virus so they are infected with it.
Simplex 2 - Herpes simplex 2 is the second most common of the herpes
simplex virus. This virus is also known as genital herpes and is contracted
through sexual contact with another person who incubates the virus, and a
blister is present. The sores on the genital areas from the herpes virus
are painful. There aren't
any cures for the herpes simplex virus, but there are medications that can help
prevent flairs and to reduce viral reproduction of the virus.

bacteria that causes lyme disease, Borrelia afzelli and Boreelia
Garinii,
which have most of their incidents in European countries, and Borrelia
burgdorferi is most
common in the United States. All three bacteria are the cause of Lyme
disease. Lyme disease is the most common disease that a thick has to

carries the bacteria. The bacteria can be found in parasites and
insects like mosquitoes. This virus is also transmitted through
blood transfusion, breast feeding, intrauterine exposure and organ
implants. It is curable if caught on time depending in which foreign
country you are in.

|
Anthrax |
Virus |
Anthrax is
contracted through sheep wool, or through the inhalation of spores
through dried up
sheep feces. The dried up feces releases spores through droplets that
can travel into your system. You would need to inhale quite a few
spores in order to become ill from anthrax. Symptoms may include flu like symptoms and the breakdown of
blood vessels. Anthrax Can also be contracted through meat that has been
contaminated through contact with feces. Lymph nodes can become an after affect
of anthrax. Lymph nodes can also lead to cancer. This disease is curable and can be killed
off with
doxycycline, an
antibiotic. Swab test are effective only when the virus had completely
spread. When the virus is detectable through a swab, than it is rather
too late to be cured.

 |
Chicken pox |
Virus |
Chicken pox is a virus that results in blister like bumps that
occur all over the body of the host, along with flu like symptoms.
Chicken pox is very contagious and is obtained through direct contact. The earlier a child is expose to this
virus the sooner the immune system would be able to cure itself with
antibodies. The virus itself is called
varicella-zoster. It is suggested that children
over the age of 13 that never incubated the virus should get
vaccinated. There isn't any cure for chicken pox but your immune system
recovers completely, destroying the pathogen, and preventin a new
outbreak to occur.

the body's epidermous. the blisters are so bad that they cause permanent scares.
The small pox disease itches uncontrollbly, In most cases people infected with
the small pox disease often fall blind due to the aftermath of the disease.
The
Variola minor results in a 1 percent death rate of his
victums.
The Variola major reuslts in a death rate of about 35 percent.
The small pox disease has been complete
removed from human contact, and is the only disease up to date that remains that way. There is a
success vaccine to this virus. So their is a prevention.
