Mission Statement

The reasons why I am dedicating this page to Roger Federer are many. He is one of the most dominant athletes ever, in any sport. His consistency and self confidence are something we can all aspire to have. His style is the most beautiful to watch in tennis. Mixing speed, power, variety, and dancer like footwork he has mesmerized millions of fans around the world. Wherever he plays, record crowds come to see him, because they know they are watching a living legend.

Perhaps the main reason I like him so much is not just for his athletic prowess, but who the man really is. He is down to Earth, never forgetting where he came from. An amazing ambassador for tennis. The most sportsman player out there (winner of the Laureus Sportsmen of the Year award for 4 years). And always respectful of opponents, the fans and the press. Even while being the #1 player in the world for 5 plus years, he continues to give every tournament the respect it deserves and give back to the sport he loves. His foundation (the Roger Federer Foundation), primarily focused on underprivileged kids in Africa, gives back to the country his mother was born in.

Roger Federer is my idol. His level of character is something I aspire to have. His work ethic is amazing. Most of all, he started my love affair with a sport often mischaracterized as boring, and dull. I have always believed that a picture is worth a thousand words, so I gathered as many videos from youtube. Hope you enjoy!
