• Always use an eyeshadow primer to make your eye as smooth as possible and to prevent any wear off throughout the day
• Use at least two brushes to avoid having to wash when going to two or more colors
• Begin with a neutral base color
• When using colors,aim for using light and dark colors for contrast, beginning with the light color first
• Be careful not to over-blend colors, it makes the eyeshadow look patchy.
• Use a wet brush to create a richer, more intense color.

Steps in Creating the Winged Eyeliner


• Prep your eyelids with concealer or primer for a smooth and even canvas.
• Apply eyeshadow if you wish, because applying eye shadow after creating the wing will end up smudging the end result
• Apply the pencil eyeliner as close to the upper lash line as possible. It should be as thin as possible as it will be the base of the wing.
• Measure out how long you want the wing to be.
• From the outer corner of the wing, make a straight line connecting to the center of the lower lash line.
• Fill in the outline to complete the look
