Business Administration (A.S.)
(Computer Programming)

 

Business Administration with Computer Programming Option is an A.S. degree. It will give you a background in business studies and some basic computer programming skills. If you intend to have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with computer programming skills, this is the best program for you. You can continue your education in Business Administration and apply basic programming skills to the office. It is always better to have some kind of combination of skills like this. Since this is an A.S. degree, you will be able to transfer the maximum amount of credits to a four year college.

Computer Science Degree (A.S.)
Computer Science

 

Computer Science is an A.S. degree offered by the department of Math and Computer Science. It will prepare you to pursue a career in computer science. You will be taking mostly higher mathematics and computer programming classes besides the core curriculum. If you plan to have a bachelor's degree in any computer programming, mechanical engineering, software engineering, game designing, or any programming related field, this is the best degree program for you. Since Computer Science is a pure A.S. (Associate in Science) degree, you will be able to transsfer almost all the credits to four year college.

 

Computer Information Systems (A.A.S)
(Web Page Development)

 

Computer Information Systems (CIS) with webpage development option is an A.A.S degree. It will give you business background with advanced skills of webpage design and development. If you do not like math and all the codings, this degree will be the best match for you. If you like to work with design, you will love this degree program. Also, having a business background with computer skills will give you an opportunity to work with professionals even before graduating the community college. You will be able to start working as a freelancer at any time! Although this degree prepares you for work, you can still transfer to a four year college. However, you may not be able to transfer all of your credits.
