    A: Tactile, clicky, and linear switches are three different types of mechanical switches used in keyboards. The main differences lie in their feel, sound, and actuation characteristics. Here's a summary Tactile Provides a bump at the actuation point for feedback. Quiet with moderate noise. Clicky Provides a bump and a loud click at the actuation point. Loud and distinctive. It is also not necessary to acquire speciality tools for cleaning, simple products works just as well as high end products.
