Building the computer
The first thing you will be doing is ensuring that the Mother board post. You will be building the computer outside of the case first.
1. The first step will be to grab your Motherboard and place it on the box that it came in.(To avoid static )
2. Lift the retention arm and insert the CPU into the Motherboard. Ensure that the arrows on the motherboard and the CPU are aligned and place the CPU. *Do not add pressure it will fall into place.* Lower the rentention arm and lock it into place.
3. Next you will connect the 8 pin connector from the PSU (power supply unit) to the mother board. once this is connected power on the PSU and using a screwdriver turn on the mother board. If it post you are ready to install everything to the case.
Installing the computer in the case.
1. Lay the case on a flat surface. Place the IO shield on the case and press firmly until you hear a snap. Screw the motherboard to the case using the supplied screws. *Pro tip now would be the perfect time the plug in the 8pin power connector, SATA cable, and the 24pin GPU cables to the motherboard if you went with a modular power supply.*
2. Place a pea size amount of thermal paste on the top of the CPU. Plug the fan lead to the Motherboard.
3. Install the RAM to the motherboard, pull back the tabs on the 2 gray RAM slots line up the RAM dim to the slot and press firmly until the tabs snap back.
4. Slide the power in with the fan facing down and out of the case. *If you have the modular PSU now is the time to connect the leads back to the PSU*.
5.Depending on the case, install the SSD or HDD either on the back of the case or in one of the HDD slots if your case comes with one.
6.Remove the cases PCI slot covers that line up with the motherboard PCIE slots. Push the GPU on to the motherboard just as you did with the RAM the tabs with snap into place. *Now would be the best time to connect the GPU cables to the PSU*
7.Next cable management will be up to you. *Use Velcro or Zip ties to make the cables look nice*
8. Install your OS of choice *Windows recommended* and download the updated BIOS.
