eSims is a on-line student information and registration system website in which you are able to gain access to your grades, transcript, granted awards, semester bills, open sections for the semester, and also lets you register for classes. To gain access to eSims open your browser window and type esims.cuny.edu.
When the below image appears, select your college and then click the submit button.
The next page that will appear is the "Student Login" page as shown below. You need to enter your user name and password in order to login to eSims. If you do not know your eSims login information click on this link, Obtaining your eSims Pin Number and Student email Information.
You are now logged into the eSims Welcome page. The left side of the Welcome page contains a menu where you can chooose from.
Select the "Address/Telephone Change" option to change your address or telephone information. Once you have entered your information, click Submit to save the changes. If your information is correct, you do not have to do anything.
Select the "Change Pin" option if you would like to change your pin number. Here you need to enter your current pin, your new pin, and confirm your new pin. Once you are done, click "Submit" to save the changes.
Choose the "Open Sections" option.
Here you can view the Schedule of Classes search system. Select your college, the semester, division, and for the "List Disciplines under Departments" option choose yes or no. Then click "Search for Course Sections". In this example, we will use Fall 2008.
In the below image, we will search for Bis 23. Choose "Both Sessions" for the Session option. In the Department/Discipline select "Bis-Business Information System". For the Course option, select "Bis 23- Advance Web Page Design (3.0 cred, 4.0 hrs). Select Monday and Wednesday for the Days option and leave the default for the remaining options. Then click "Search for Course Sections".
The below page will be displayed showing you the results. Close window to return to eSims.
