Finally, video games have the most strange but beneficial benefit. In a study made by WebMD Health News (March, 2003), states that Playing a Video Game May Provide Chronic Pain Relief. It is very unlikely to see that engaging in an activity related to an extreme export is going to relieve pain. That is not the case if it is playing a video game. Researchers say that playing an engaging video game may actually distract someone's attention away from a painful activity and help people with chronic pain conditions, especially children.  Studies were made by Researcher Bryan Raudenbush, assistant professor of psychology at Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, W. Va., and colleagues. They tested pain threshold, tolerance, and ratings in 30 adults. The study gave to them amazing results, the study found that regardless of the person's personality or gaming experience, playing an active video game reduced their pain rating and increased pain tolerance compared with the other conditions.  Finally, they concluded that the study suggests that active video game play may be an effective addition to chronic pain relief techniques for many patients.

These results are the solemn prove that video games do not just entertain us but they also help us in our daily life, even if it is just to release some stress or relieve chronic pain. Also, video games might not be the way parents want to see their children learning but at the end anything that makes our young learn is appreciated and more if you can engage with them at their own world and keep a close eye in their activities. Remember it is not about quantity but about quality. Do not restrict your children from video games, instead regulate and control what they play and how long do they play. Also, keep in mind that every game has a rated symbol that tells you if the games are appropriated for the age of the child. Use all these advices or just consult with the retailer, they usually know what video games is better a child age.
